Replacement of CFCs in “Obod” Electro-industry” in Cetinje

Investment project for replacement of CFCs in “Obod Electro-industry”, started in 2001 and was realized through bilateral arrangement with the Republic of Italy.

The objective of this project was to eliminate the use of CFC-11 and CFC-12 in the production of domestic refrigerators and freezers at “Obod” through conversion to the use of HFC-134a as refrigerant for refrigeration cycles and cyclopentane as blowing agent for the polyurethane insulation foam.
 
Project was finished in 2007 and 94, 8 metric tone of CFC was phased out.
